Working with Shawna has been like an awakening for me in every way. When I looked for a yoga education I thought the self-leadership program was amazing! But after doing it I am speechless, delighted and very satisfied with my process with Shawna on this program! When I arrived there I was without light, without a personal life, with many problems, excesses and sadness; It was not an easy process but I remained receptive to all your instructions, teachings and suggestions, I went week by week meeting the objectives and I must say that I am leaving your program as a totally new person, with dreams, goals, objectives, improving my excesses, cultivating self-love, patience, reducing stress and tension to please others; I learned to listen to myself and be the best version of myself step by step, one day at a time.

I understood my limits, I can’t please others all the time and the most important thing is me. I have achieved a level of calm and concentration that is very beautiful and significant for me, thanks to the practices that are now part of my daily life, I already do it automatically and don’t even think about it. Finishing  projects — something that hasn’t happened for approximately 10 years; I believe in myself and trust that I have the ability to achieve my goals.

Discovering the magic in the “mundane” is how I would describe my journey with Shawna. In the beginning of this summer, resistance had crept in to become the dominant force in my life. This resistance managed to bleed into my relationships, my thoughts and my actions. I lost awareness of the magic all around and couldn’t recognize the divine within and without. The presence of Shawna brought about a guiding light for self-discovery. Her calmness and positivity shown through and helped me realize the infinite possibilities all around me.
